Hello, I’m Alistair.

For twenty years, I led creative and content teams. Now I help people make something that matters to them, one to one from Dubai.
I’ve taught family members and mentored colleagues with different levels of experience. I’ve helped people use AI to create books, work on their businesses and take the first steps towards starting something of their own.
I often tell people: it starts with a question. You don’t need special wording to begin. We work out what to ask, look at the answer and try a useful next step. I’ll explain things plainly and help you learn a way of working you can keep.

What if I don’t know what to ask?
That’s a fine place to start. Tell me what you’d like to do, or what’s getting in the way. We’ll work out a useful question together. You don’t need special wording or anything prepared for the free chat.
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. We start wherever you are. Claude is an AI assistant from Anthropic that you can talk to in ordinary language. I’ll show you how to use it for your project, one step at a time.
What can we work on together?
Your digital life, a creative project or an idea for your work or business. That could mean organising files and photos, starting a book, making a simple website or improving an everyday task. Bring something you want to do. We’ll agree a useful starting point on the free chat.
Can you help with a business idea or 3D printing?
Bring your idea to the free chat. We’ll discuss what you want to achieve, what I can teach and any tools or equipment you’ll need. We might start with an outline for an offer, a draft for your website or a plan for a creative project. We’ll agree the scope and cost before you book.
What computer do I need?
For the computer-sorting lessons, I recommend an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS Sonoma or later, or a recent Windows PC with virtualisation enabled. These give us a practical starting point for local work in Claude Cowork.
Claude's requirements can change. Writing and website work run in any up-to-date web browser. I'll check your machine on our free chat.
Does Claude cost extra?
Yes. You'll need your own Claude Pro subscription, currently about USD 20 a month when paid monthly. It's separate from my fees. You own and control the account. Prices can vary by country and tax. Check Claude's current prices.
What about time zones?
I’m based in Dubai, with good overlap for the UK, Ireland, France and Australia. If you’re in New Zealand, the US or elsewhere, we’ll check our diaries together before you book.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you're not happy with your taster session, you can have your money back. Just tell me.
Do you do the work for me?
No. I teach you. You do every click. That's the whole point. We use Claude and Claude Cowork as tools you learn to use yourself. You make the decisions, try the steps and keep the work.
